La favorita de muchos, ya que ha obtenido 14 nominaciones a dichos premios es La La Land y con ello podría superar a la multiganadora y que hasta hoy posee el récord, Titanic, que en 1998 se adjudicó 11 estatuillas de las 14 nominaciones... ¡Qué empiece la función!.

Hoy, no es Emmanuel Luvezky (tres Oscares), sino, Rodrigo Prieto el que le podría dar a México un Oscar más, y el cuarto de mánera consecutiva en la categoría Mejor Fotografía. Prieto compite por la película The Silence. Para este fotógrafo mexicano es su segunda nominación ya que en el 2005 compitió con Brokeback Mountain. ¡No te lo pierdas!
