He fought in Mexico’s war of Independence from Spain and later against the Americans in the Mexican-American War. He is seen as a rare honorable man in a time of great chaos in Mexican history.

José María Morelos (Sep-tember 30, 1765 – December 22, 1815) was a Mexican priest and revolutionary. He was in overall military command of Mexico’s Independence movement in 1811-1815 before he was captured, tried and executed by the Spanish. He is considered one of the greatest heroes of Mexico and countless things are named after him, including the State of Morelos and the city of Morelia.

September have one of Mexico’s most important holidays. Every year, local mayors and politicians re-enact the famous Grito de Dolores. In Mexico City, thousands congregate in the Zócalo, or main square, on the night of the 15th to hear the President ring the same bell that Hidalgo did and recite the Grito de Dolores. The crowd roars, cheers and chants, and fireworks light up the sky. On the 16th, every city and town all over Mexico celebrates with parades, dances and other civic festivals.

México.- El entrenador chileno, Carlos Reinos, causó furor en las redes sociales, al hacer comentarios en contra del América, tras la derrota que su equipo, el Veracruz, su sufrió el sábado en el estadio Azteca.
Al sellar otro fracaso en el Apertura 2015, en choque de la Fecha 6, el ex americanista dijo a través de su cuenta de Twitter que “Nos ganó bien el equipo de las naciones 9 no nacidos en Mexico de pena (sic)”.

Cuernavaca, Morelos.- La Asociación de Migrantes Morelenses que residen en Chicago festejaron la Feria de la Flor 2015, como parte de sus actividades que realizan para mantener la identidad y sus raíces, refiriendo un día colorido y lleno de vistosidad.
De acuerdo con su asesor legal en Mexico, Adán Guerrero Treviño, las actividades se desarrollaron en las instalaciones de la Iglesia María Madre del Cielo en Cícero,  Illinois; hasta donde se trasladaron los morelenses avencindados en Chicago.

Alfonso Reyes Ochoa (17 May 1889 in Monterrey, Nuevo León–27 December 1959 in Mexico City) was a Mexican writer, philosopher and diplomat.
Alfonso Reyes’ parents were Bernardo Reyes and Aurelia Ochoa. His father was in important politician during the government of Porfirio Díaz, such as the governorship of Nuevo León and the Secretary of War and Navy.
